Re: Tentacle comix?
Well, aside from Feather's illustration style, DoF artists are the anti-hentai in that the stories are more rooted in "reality" than the more fantasy - leaning hentai comics.

Agree halfway with your answer.fernandofan wrote:Well, aside from Feather's illustration style, DoF artists are the anti-hentai in that the stories are more rooted in "reality" than the more fantasy - leaning hentai comics.
There have been "monsters" like Orch´s (can´t remember which artist did those - With all due Respect, but pekinobo is drunk and can´t find, but "everyone" knows who it is).
Maestro Roberts have done in Circus Armageddon "BEAST!!!!" for example and the legandary Buffy in Hell (in so many ways with members even asking for re payment of membership - Now That is f***ing RUDE) .
And from what pekinobo has understood his new The woods have eyes - some monster of sort is lurking within the woods.
Fernando - The devil made me do it - which touches slightly upon hentai/tentacle (A really good and fun read by the way).
Imagine if these artists had done these comics - and followed up with them - in the 90s or late 80´s - Each and Everyone of them Would have been Bigger (in Japan) since it is the home of monster/tentacle s*x.
Hey, even monsters has feelings

Re: Tentacle comix?
- The problem of regular Hentai lay in those wacky anatomy and unreal face.
- But for Feather's illustration work, I think his color skin is the most "realistic" one around here. And even Feather didn't do any tentacle story around.
- But Ferres did make some comic with tentacle, you can check his "Red Riding Hood".

It doesn´t have to be drawn in the "traditional eastern" (Japanese) style. All artists has their own style, be there faces and bodies on how the women look. So from that stand point it shouldn´t be any problems to create one or more comix with tentacles or "simply" monsters.
If it then goes under some law that absolutly make it all forbidden, then there would be another story.

Re: Tentacle comix?
It is on the Bankers' list (dictated by US homeland security) as "beastiality".
So, I did some tentacles which were robots in the first part of "Dragonsabre". Not "animals" or "monsters".
I am doing "Woods" based on the recent research which finds that the Sasquatch/BigFoot of the American forests is a human species. "Beast" in "Armageddon" is the same type of guy..a proto-human species.
You see, the Americans are absolutely TERRIFIED of the openly sexual Japanese comics, anime', and movies. Terrified.
The US State Department has attempted to block import of all such entertainment for, well, since the end of WW2. That pixelation over cocks and pussy hair in Japanese videos and movies?? Thank Douglas MacArthur for that. His idea. Though some comics and anime' still gets into the US, it is far less than it could be..and hard to find in many areas.
US Homeland Security through its program of using the banks to suppress whatever they do not like (they are doing it to gun manufacturers and dealers too) have handed down rules for pornography which we have discussed here many times. The Banks enforce this censorship by cancelling your bank accounts.
Monsters, Aliens, Demons/devils, and tentacles are on this list.

Re: Tentacle comix?
Figured it would go under "beastiality" which in all honesty is, well, double edged thingy.
As for real animals, sure, the japanese has so many subgenres that some makes pekinobo ill (eels and stuff), but if the tentacles and "regular" monsters (freely created from the imaginary mind); No problem with that. But ok, they can have it their way.
Did a comix called From the sky where a teenage girl gets attacked from a tentacle "head monster/alien" and it was all a metaphore for cancer.
Read for a couple years ago that Shinzo Abe (Primeminister of Japan) had been "political attacked" to bann ALL Manga (even those called Kyōiku - basicly means Educates - where the spann of genres are Massive. It can be all from mangas references to young boys on how to fix your bicycle - some adventured also thrown in - to girls learning how to cook some meal or bake a cake) All of that would be illeagal! All of it. But Sensei Abe refused and said "Manga is such a strong cultural influence around the globe.." Meanwhile http://www.japantimes.co.jp/opinion/201 ... nst-japan/
Now Tarō Asō leading the country and political analysts and people in general are saying that Japan is once again heading towards facism (as many countries are however).
But to bann All manga?
It´s a political suicide.
As for the Kyōiku, last year a new manga made headlines; Abolitionista! Where young girls and boys are being teached how to act/react towards sexual predators. Ganbate Nippon!!!
