No fancy reason. Just tried the genre and moved on, just like I did with WW2 (Convent Assault) and 18th century America (Indentured).
I've thought about doing sci-fi again, but I honestly think there's not much of a market for it. Sexy sci-fi works better as a comedy/adventure story, not serious BDSM. At least that's my opinion. That's not to say one can't do a good BDSM sci-fi story, it's just harder to pull off.

Thanks for the answer Fernando! Re-reading that comic, it also struck me as having a slightly bleaker and grimmer tone than many of your later work. Perhaps that is related to your point about sci-fi and BDSM being a complicated match?

Can't speak for anyone else, but I very much liked Space Pirates. Especially the scenes of those dual-c@cked beings going to work on the female colonists.
But I also liked the whole premise, of the female captain being forced upon. Women in uniform in these situations are a turn on.
Would still like to see you do a group of stewardesses in some mass assault scene...maybe as part of a small story in a collection of "women in uniform in peril"?

I think it was just that I was generally writing darker themes at that time, not so much because it was sci-fi.

I added a poll on women in uniform. The response was positive, but not many artists have taken up the challenge. Pity.
