Secondly, Rud3boy the more you comment the more I am surprised at how similar and simple our tastes are. I totally agree and have commented many times, I really like the kidnap aspect and unwanted surrender of beautiful damsels tight bondage. Simple concept with beautiful art and told in a perfectly paced way as we saw with Snatcher 1 and some other comics. I'm glad to hear that they are working on something else together, a SNATCHER would be perfect... BUT, if the idea seems to have morphed as you say into something else... I'm hoping the level of inspiration to do so will result in a better comic than another SNATCHER *fingers crossed*
As far as Lesbi's art evolution, I must say her art has always had an impact of sorts, but I much prefer her earlier comics where the damsels were slightly less exaggerated with some more mature bodily features. Her most recent comics the girls seem as you say a bit more cartoonish but at the same time, it benefits from better polish and feminine faces. Overall though her art works great and the two together work well as we have seen in the past.[/quote]
That was my one criticism to Geoff that there was a bit too much Girl on Girl action, but I can’t have every comic to my tastes and have to admit these comics have to appeal to a wide variety. When I saw the initial concept for the comic I was excited, and it still delivered on a certain level, but it was less story driven and more to do with restraint. The suspenseful build up of Geoff’s earlier works is reduced and that is a conscious effort by Geoff I believe as he has gotten older he wants to cut to the chase so to speak. I can see his point as a writer myself, I do struggle with the build up and my writing seems to flow when we get to the action, and none of us are getting any older. Probably why I commission so much now. As a reader though I can see this lessens the impact when reading these comics.
I think a lot of us have very similar tastes TBH, that is why we post on here. BTW I know you have tried to contact me in the past and there has been an issue, if you are interested in the artists I have commissioned, find me on Deviantart, or Discord…..if interested. And also for those who like similar stuff to Geoff Merrick’s work check out this links, not BDSM western comics but these guys knock it out of the park, I’ve commissioned them several times.
