I am not sure if I am a big fan of the new coloring schema. The few pages towards the end after
"Six months ago... " is a total waste for me.

The dotted /star line, darker skin color, not my cup of tea......

I would like to pay another 20 EUR gladly for a re-work with a new classic schema like SNATCHER 2: COSPREY - FERNANDO......

I somewhat agree. Fernando's linework is gorgeous, but his coloring leaves something to be desired - largely flat hue planes and soft, vague shading. I just don't think he's as passionate a colorist as he is a line artist.

I think if we could get Fernando's linework, Merrick's stories, and idk maybe Ferres or Dejean or Slasher or Cagri or Kittyhand on color, it'd be quite the dream team. Of course I know pretty much every single person I listed only works on their own projects, so that's not going to happen. Ah well.

Bought it read it..........I have to say this is by far the best art I've seen by Fernando. Love the story and the set up, absolutely could lead to an epic bondage tale. I take on board the criticisms of the colouring but it is in context. The tale is a homage to Japan, and Japanese porn. The "Ganguro", style is a well known style of Japanese women, dressing up as an over the top version of western women, which ,means darker tans, beach blondes with bright loud clothes.

I love the new character models, and some of the designs of the women are simply amazing. I do have some criticisms. My personal preference is the severe lack of gags. In fact we only got to see it just once. I know I may be on my own here but Fernando is a master of gags, and with the great art, character models, and fantastic devilishly dark setting and set up, I feel a little let down as we did not even see a ball gag. Hopefully this gets addressed in the sequel.

Having Lived in Japan for some time, I love the little touches and Easter eggs to Japanese culture references. The James dean look of the gang members, Raman stalls, even the look of the convenience stores. I'm assuming Fernando has been there. I even like the colourful use of toys. The vibrating eggs is a nice touch, especially the ones used on the nipples, as many a hentai has employed these.

The setting is fab and the set up and idea is just so refreshing from Fernando. I know this is a comic concerned more on gang banging, and a gag would be counterproductive, but Dark Vengeance was about Gang Banging but still had room for gags.
Basically not a complete disappointment like the latest Dark Vengeance, but not quiet up there with Cospreys. Great new IP from Fernando, although my earlier criticism of lack of gags, really gets me, as I know this could have been elevated even higher than how I rate it at the moment.

Keep it up Fernando, and I agree with Naj we need more collaborations, hopefully Fernando and Merrick again

To anyone who is thinking of getting this , get it, great art. 4 stars, not quiet one of his best but really expands on Fernando's art style.

Does anybody else think it's a bit strange that Fernando is still advertising the "Fernando-planet" site at the end of his latest comics????

Bree is specifically referred to as "black" in the comic, specifically this line by the biker with the skull mask: <Yes! None of the gang has ever f@cked black ass before! I’m going to be the trailblazer!>

Now whether the character is right or not is of course questionable, but I'm not convinced that Fernando was going for the Ganguro fashion style. Unless Fernando comes in and gives a definitive yes/no on the matter, it's open to interpretation. Regarding color in general, Fernando has always had a very basic coloring style, which isn't wrong by any means but isn't as visually dynamic as it could be. The linework, once again absolutely gorgeous, carries most of the load. I admit I have a unique perspective on it, but I always feel that something is lost between when I get the uncolored lines and the completed comic.

I think Fernando has a long-running interest in Japanese culture. One of his earliest works, Revenge, dates all the way back from 2004, and the Yakuza feature near the end in that one.

The situation may have changed but I do not believe Fernando does the colouring.

I doubt that, he has been advertising the Fernando-Planet site on his last 5 comics. Probably just laziness to update. I'm not expecting a return of Fernando-planet. Shame I miss the place.
