LoLord, do you think these huge beastly muscle girls you show us as your work look like the Frank Cho blonde girl?
You're not even close.
Frank Cho's girls might actually exist...the anatomy is not so extreme and exagerated. What you keep showing us in
your drawings are girls with SUCH huge muscles they all look like Incredible Hulk, just not green...
You show a great potential, but you really need to improve your vision..what you draw and that comics girl with the swords?
They do not look alike at all.
You also display a great deal of immaturity and childish defensive posture..I'm not arguing with you at all. Draw your comic, let's
see it. Get busy, your fans are waiting.

Hi LOLord, I've been reading your thread since Roberts mention it in a chatin', and I just couldn't resist myself to do this:

Image

I hope that you don't take it bad, it's my way to explain myself, I'm not too good with foreign languages when talking about "art style". So I grabbed your pic and did a very quick "fix" (15 minutes).
First, you need to give priority to women basic "Feminine Features", you CAN'T AVOID this:
1st, delicate face
2nd, delicate hands
3rd, delicate wristles
4th, delicate ankles
5th, delicate neck...
6th, delicate arms
7th, delicate waistline
And that's it.
You can give them bulgin legs, back, great abs, but THERE HAS to be a hot girl behind all of that, if you have that you can't miss buddy.

I think I know what you're looking for, and it's not in that picture you show us, believe me. I'll give you a hint about how to escape from the "artist blunt mind syndrome". This happens when the artist can't see it's own picture objectively‎, and it's very common. You "see" the picture for the "first time" days or even months after puttin it away and far of your sight for a while. So instead of that, grab your pic and turn it around, flip it horizontally, like in a mirror, and look at it, you'll find what you're looking for. That's a short cut to the "wait and see again" option. Edit: I just saw Ferres's comment in the first page giving the same advice of the "mirrorred perspective"... lol :D

A CRUCIAL technical hint I can give you, it's the glow effect to tone up the muscles without having to give her corporal mass volume. Just use the "glow" or "dodge" effect like I did in the pic to highlight and define her muscles all you want, so she can be very thin but have very toned and highlighted muscles. I'm sure that THAT is what you're looking for. The "glow" and "dodge" effects you can find them easily as already available optional brushes in Corel Painter, my editor of choice. In the Adobe Photoshop the "glow effect" doesn't come as a brush ready to use, but as a feature you set in the "Blending option" of the layer of choice. You clic the outer glow in that window of settings and then you have to set the outer glow effect till you find the desired "glow effect"... IT SUCKS... PHOTOSHOP SUCKS. Sorry I had to say it, lol.

And I know what you want, you want a FIT girl, I salute that, it's a VERY hard to achieve style. But as Roberts said it's a very narrow genre, because a "power girl main character" can only work in a very specific scenario. A power girl CAN'T be assaulted at home, or kidnapped by some random bastard, or submited by the standard "evil slave corporation". That kind of character will be mostly used in fantasy settings. She must be submited by entire armys, armored juggernauts, etc. You have to plan pretty well how you're gonna work with a character like that. It's hard work man.

A character like that has its good sides of course. A power girl can be submited to punishments that no-one else could resist, like I don't know, a hundred lashes with a whip made of chains, to be crucified for a month, to be f@cked with a burning hot metal dildo, and survive all of that, that's the catch of using a power girl character. You may think about all of that, before embarking on a challenge like doing a comic, it's hard work man.. HARD F@CKING WORK. After doing your first comic, you'll be wishing to go back to clean some McDonalds floors, believe me. And if after all that you still want to make comics... well... welcome to the club man, and God have mercy on your soul hahahahahaha!!!!!!

Honestly your over shiny pic creep me a little!
- You know the Hulk's pant, it's indestructible even if he go through some nuclear explosion? You CANT AVOID this: The Hulk must wearing a pant in every scene? Seriously!=> the inherent definition need to be change!
- Belly didn't look the same when you sit down or lay around, with the right position, even a delicate belly 'll look like a fat meat:

- Your seven delicate stuff on apply for"basic" and "generic" female! It didn't potray any thing about my character.
- When you swing all day long across the jungle, you hands cant be a pianist's hands. You run all day long with bare feet, you cant have balletic feet either! Even your hair must look clumsy in that jungle life!
- Black skin didn't shiny that much even if you use some oil on them, so using shiny effect without correct anatomy outline is just half-ass method, over use can made skin look like plastic! (artist that lack anatomy knowledge, lazy, or both of them)
- Extra big boobs is the most gross thing in my opinion!

Seriously? I'm think it's a kid inside you, but you just hide it to become more mature! And when Kul jump in and encourage that kid, you just lose you cool and let that immature kid came out!
I 'm trying to keep polite and reasonable discussion here, please dont derail the topic by nonsense joke!
Another example here if you mind about the face that much. This girl did have a fat belly, right? NO, it's just the point of view that change the shape of anatomy!

LOLord, my contribution to your search for feedback was with all the best intentions. The "items" that I pointed out as "feminine features that can be avoided" and all that, t'was my way to explain with words the key elements of the female figure: neck, wristles, ankles and waistline, and how makin' those 4 elements thiner or thicker will easily switch the figure from damsel, to warrior, to hulk, and so on. It was not a joke or a pedantic definition.
But now I know that I was wrong, and that you REALLY want to draw your figure of choice in the way you did. I would never figured that out with out this exchange we had... so now I know.

And that beeing clarified, now you got me puzzled... I just don't know what to say. You choosed a fetish figure and scenario REALLY HARD to work with. I'll have to wait and see how you pull this off, Good Luck! :22

Dont misunderstand me, Kul! I'm talking about Robert with his "Who is this old bitch with the saggy loose tits?" comment, not you! Robert just ignore my point about belly with that pic, and he put in there an unnecessary question!
- For your advice, Kul. I know it's a hard way to make a comic, for the easy way, I dont need research much about anatomy and still draw comic so fast! But i just cant stand the quality of those "fast" comic! Some artist spend half a year for an episode like Feather, or Ferres, but their work was satisfying!

Yes, it's quite obvious we have here a cocky arrogant sort who thinks he knows something. Either that or he's simply insane.
I am a 59 year old lifelong artist. I have worked on major motion pictures, worked with Disney Studios, Warner brothers, done Superbowl Halftime Show stages, rock shows..I've painted big diesel trucks 40 feet long and tiny soldiers 2 inches high. I have been in the Adult/Porn arts since the 1990's, I have shot and edited video, directed several myself, and even "acted" in a few.
After going full-time comics artist in 2000, my websites quickly became the most profitable in the BDSM art genre' and the most viewed. I just might KNOW something about drawing girls that guys want to pay money to look at.
LoLord, you Sir are as of yet to actually PROVE anything...you have big TALK. But nothing to show. If you practice this more, you'll be an American soon..
Do your big ass muscle girl comic, I am anxious to see it..we will see then who agrees with your "unusual" fetish in mutant women.

- Well, age doesn't matter! The behavior is the only proof to say if you 're a mature one or not! I'm just a part time artist and didn't have a pulished comic yet, and even if you're a billionaire, that didn't make me an ape man either. We're both human, so please respect each other as much as possible!
- I have other job to earn money for my life, draw comic is just my habit. All i want is making a rare dish for the DOf party, so people with special taste won't be starved and every one 'll be happy together!
