Of course none of these corrupt dictators cares about morality or religion, it's about control and money.
If you examine a Short History of the Internet, you'll find that it was the porn industry that BUILT the commercial internet. Prior to '95, nobody really had a clue how to make any money online...most people had bulletin boards and chat sites and BBW, but no real way to market and sell. Go see a movie called "Middle Men", which kinda explains..it's about the guys who invented the software to do online credit card transactions. This was a breakthrough of such huge importance, it threatened to topple entire Governments.
The dot-com "crash" of '99-2000 was no crash..it was deliberately engineered to STOP the huge monster called Online Porn, which was sucking all the money out of the NY Stock Exchange..major investors were pulling out of commodities..oil, gas, wheat, fuel oil, etc...and investing in this New Big Thing. The INTERNET. It got so big, so fast (people were becoming overnight multi millionaires just opening a pay website) it terrified Wall Street and the banks at the time were powerless to stop it. The only tool they had to try and stop the juggernaut of Online Paysites eating them alive, was shut it down. Try to kill it.

That didn't work as well as they expected. Oh sure, the Wall Street regulators and Feds managed to crush a lot of companies and got rid of a ton of Dow listed public corporations they accused of "fraud"..but it really didn't kill the monster. Because what online credit card processing did, they never expected. It made everyone an instant Global Marketing Baron..from a little computer in their bedrooms. Suddenly, EVERYBODY was free. The model of getting up and going to work at the factory, the store, the gas station, the shop..that was over. Sell worldwide, sell anything, from your own home. Talk to everyone on Earth. A completely free world, free market, free exchange of ideas.
They could not let THIS go on.

So that's when the US Government went to Phase 2 of the War on Internet Freedom. They used the Patriot Act..the Anti Terrorist laws..to accuse all "violent" pornographers of Terrorism. Under that accusation, they went to all the world's BANKS, and told them if they process credit cards for any of these "terrorists", they are terrorists, and then the US Dept. of Homeland Security will seize the bank and all assets. Full forfeiture.
So far, that has been the most effective censorship ever seen. You simply cannot get around the forbidden subjects and use credit cards.
But get ready, they are close to launching Phase 3.

Right idea Roberts, just one small correction, it wasn't the US government who forced the banks hand they did it willingly and just used the Government as an excuse. Its not the gvernment who cares about free exchange and the moving of money outside the banks and the established investment markets, they will have money and power either way. Its the banks, the red sheild banks, to be exact who's money hinges on controling all the markets and exchanges.

I have this information from the sources. I do not spread conspiracy theories. While I know full well the global evil the banking families of this planet represent, and the unlimited murderous contempt they consider all of us with, this censorship by proxy plot came directly out of Homeland Security and the Justice Department. True enough, the banks didn't put up one second of resistance and indeed, came onboard and wrote in their own details to make it work, but the original concept was from the US Gov., sick of being beaten in the courts time and again in useless obscenity cases.
