Are those character studies yours LOLord? Or do you just use them as a reference?

- I use them as reference, but i did learn the author's style (anatomy, curvy hair, thick lip).
- You can search comic illustration made by famoust marvel artist like Ed benes, Al rio, or David Finch. Their muscle woman is just great. Although it's not easy to mimic their style, but its fascination is undeniable!

Drawing with a mouse is a real pain, a decent tablet makes all the difference. I use Photoshop too, for sketching and colouring.

I'm a line-freak and use a dedicated vector programme, using a mouse, for line-work - Xara graphic studio is the fastest and has the best line tools for me, but it is still very slow compared to hand-inking.

Look forward to seeing more of your work.

So...show me some girl you actually drew on your own. Not copied, not traced over, not modified from another drawing...I'm trying to determine if you have pro potential here. We have to discover new talent when possible..

- Aw, i didn't intend to become an comic artist, since i already have another job which take me 8 hours per day.
- All my edit picture is made in my free time and i 'll share it for free. I hope my edit picture some how 'll inspired more idea about super heroine, so other DoF artist can use it.
- I'm still learning about woman anatomy so dont expect a decent naked woman from me yet. But you asked for my original drawing so here we are. This is my hand drawing pieces: Image

That's not bad...not bad at all...
If you read my bio on Roberts-Comics.com, you'll see that I did not spend my whole career in adult comics..My first paying art jobs were in commercial graphics and magazine production. I've been an illustrator and storyboard artist for movie productions. I've worked for Disney, Universal, and Warner bros. productions. I only played around with BDSM comics, and didn't sell my first porn drawings until the 1990's. I decided to go totally full time in BDSM porn comics in 2000, and it's the best decision I ever made.
So I just say this: Whatever you do NOW in art, may not be what you do 10 years from now. Always be open to all possibilities. I think you might have some talent for this. You're certainly enthusiastic.

- I have a question: being an artist comic meaning you finished the line work and coloring then send it to the DoF team then wait for the money back.
- But like in Feather's situation, he finished his work a long time ago, then already sent it to DoF. But since it not published yet (may be 3 month after he sent to you guy) so there's no money back to him in that long time. Did he get tired of waiting and lost interesting on his job?

I have no contact with Feather, so I have no clue what's happening there..Bego can fill you in.
As for "how to get paid"..it's pretty basic. I like pay websites. But I diversify, so I have deals with a couple of paywebsites, have my own pay website too. I also have a monthly comic in printed magazines in the US. I think if you want to do well in this, one must spread out and develop a variety of income streams. Don't put all eggs in one basket..
