Where is everyone?

Post by Demosthenes »

Seems like a lot of our artists haven't been present on the forum lately.
Of course they shouldn't make this little place their priority, but I do find it a bit odd after having so many of DFs greatest contribute regularly on here... :?

It's a pity. But dofantasy presents the best bdsmartwork you can find in the whole inet.

But they are the worst when it comes to promotion and advertising.

No regulary information on updating.

Exorbitant long waiting time to some ne ones.
(For example first announcement to the new one from Ted Owen on March 12, 2012 and not published until now)

No chance of Private messaging between users and not with NURIA herself.

It seems after ten years of running they seemed a bit of tired at all.

Hope that dofantasy.com is still online for ages.

But sometimes it's unpleasant to be a customer of this site.

I'm generally lurking around, though I realise most people are more interested in the comics artists.

Darkplayer, sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied, but I have to disagree.

Regular news on updates appears on the "What's new" page at BDSMartwork, quite often.

As for the long waits, well this is connected to the fact that Dofantasy has some of the best BDSM art anywhere. As for comics, fifty or more pages can take some time to complete. I would certainly find that kind of output daunting.

The good stuff, just takes time.

Takea look at Hines pencil drawings; http://dofantasyforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=1186 or any of Ferres's images and the work of many of the other artists here: http://dofantasyforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=355

This kind of work isn't just dashed off, like the shoddy stuff you will find on many other sites.

Here you will find work done by people who aim to create "art". I know that might sound a bit airy-fairy, but it's true.

I hope you stay with the best there is in BDSM art online, it is worth it.

I told it several times before in different threads.

I know, the best bdsm-comic-artwork you cand find here.

And it's not a problem to wait.

The only problem is, that they (the company) isn't able to install some kind of rgeulary update info, like "what's coming next" and "progress".

The "whats new" section on bdsmartwork.com is ok, but has nothing to do with the publishing of whole comics here on dofantasy.com.

Sometimes they show two new ones in a week, and sometimes we have to wait for weeks without any sign of life and it seems like dofantasy.com isn't longer working.

An announcment in March 2012 for a comic that isn't published in February 2013 isn't usefull for a customer.

No question, the best place to find stuff like this is HERE.
But the bad or none support is annoying.

And last but not least - I'm not only a faithful user of dofantasy.com (buy most of the new ones). I'm a member of bdsmartwork too.
