The Great Artist Faceoff

Post by Sandow »

I was watching a panel discussion of sci-fi authors talk about the world of fiction writing when one of them made an interesting point. They said that having one of their short stories included in an anthology that featured their favorite author can be intimidating. No matter how great their writing is, having it included in a book alongside someone they consider god-like in ability is an uncomfortable honor.

So I've got a question for the DoFantasy artists on the Forum. If there was an erotic art 'faceoff' held, who would you be reluctant to go up against?

Hajime Sorayama. Luis Royo. Boris Vallejo or Julie Bell. I wouldn't hang my best work in the same building with these astonishing artists.

Hi People,
I'm totally agree with Roberts, also my favourite artists:

Norman Rockwell (fine arts, and advertising illustration)
Frank Frazetta (fantasy art, sci fi, comics)
Ciruelo (fantasy art, sci fi, dragons drangons and more dragons)
Keith Parkinson (fantasy art)
Boris Vallejo (fantasy art, bodybuilders, sci fi, more bodybuilders, photograph and more and more bodybuilders, he is bodybuilder and his wife Julie Bell is bodybuilder too...)
Chichoni (concept art for videogames, sci fi, fantasy art, cover artist)

well the list hasn't finish... oh i forget Ryan Church (concept artist who work for last Star Wars episode 1,2 ,3).

Fernando, really? You'd hesitate to display your work beside Neal Adams?

Oh, yeah... and considering he was doing his best work when he was only in his 20's!
