Well, Sura does have anger issues. Personally she doesn't have issues, but the dead girl she was cloned from did. Genetic memory.

She's not alone, there other clones of dead children with her and she has a co-pilot for her Kaiten.

They're beyond the guinea pig stage since they are an active part of a weapon system. A weapon of last resort.

And the reason they clone dead children is to satisfy the belief that they don't have souls and are just illegitimate copies.

There was a a Dofantasy memo about 'blood with sex' a while back. I recall asking Nuria if I could do that decap seen. She ok'ed it so it's there. It was actually a lot raunchier when I first thought it up, but it felt forced and Ronja's smaller alter ego was there, so I went safer. But yeah, I think I can push a little more.

Anyway, Proto will get nastier since they arrived on that slave station. We can now justify all that nasty bdsm stuff.

Unfortunately, new brushes won't help with the current crop of pages. They're just too dense. I'm basically fitting as much material in one page as possible to move the stories along.

Sura has started and Proto is well past the half way mark. There are barely any 'light work' page in either.

Well, the dense problem can be resolve easily with brush's low opacity or another faint dark color over those detail! I know we draw comic for money, but some where deep down artist's heart, we alway wanna draw magnificent thing to feast people's eyes too.
- BTW i really do hope no children die in your comic, the one holding the teddy look very happy and sad at the same time!
