No, you can be sure it won't be two years before Cheerleaders 9 comes out. In fact some of the initial action are already drawn.

I've been taking a more graphic design approach to the covers recently rather than just drawing a scene from the comic. The idea in Cheerleaders 8 of the cover title painted on the bodies was brought about by my wanting to make the girls fill the whole cover.
