I was having a discussion with someone about Templeton the other day, and the conversation quickly swerved when we hit an interesting point.

US banking laws are stupid and draconian - I think we all know that. The question is, how are you artists paid?

Do you operation on a commission model from the publisher, and get paid up front for your work in entirety, or are you profit participants in the sale of the comics themselves? I know Mr. Roberts has made it clear that the publisher sets the price, so I would imagine that it is the former.
