does anybody of you know if there are any videos are out in the www. like the fansadox/dofantasy coics, maybe a hentai series or something else?

And why are no videos produced? The first try

There are two factors in this equasion. First, animation is very labor intensive and time consuming. I have been looking to do animated BDSM for a long time now, but just cannot get the time free to get going (because I do have to keep paying my rent). It makes no difference if it's traditional cel animation or digital 3D modelling, it just takes a horribly long time to produce. Unless of course you have unlimited money and a crew of 200 people. Which brings us to Item 2:
Money.
The "business" of porn production is one of notoriously cheap and impatient producers. No one will invest any money into a animated porn project, even one with very high art value. Especially in these hard times where all porn is competing with Free content overwhelming the Internet..how do you convince someone to put up a million dollars and wait 2 or 3 years to get a finished animated video? Of course, no one is gonna do it. Pretty girls are getting naked and performing all over the Web for Free these days, so how will you make that million bucks back? It's an impossible situation.

I've been promoting an animated project since the '70s..so far, no backers want to touch it. It's just not profitable in their view.

Now the Japanese are a bunch of artists I envy greatly. They have a long established Anime' industry which has been producing movies of every type for decades, and some of it is amazing. It is not treated as a fringe art or a "kiddie" media, it is serious filmmaking there. Though highly censored in Europe and almost non-existant in the US, there are some pretty crazy wild things in Japanese animation, and I'm sure there's an entire underground sub-genre' of extreme Anime' we aren't allowed to see. I'd start a studio like that right now if the funding were offered.

Thanks for your words. Now I understand...better. I thought it was cheaper to make such kinds of movies...

Why don´t you send some of your comics to the Jap-Studios, maybe they take some of your ideas to make better animated movies.

It would be awesome, when we'll see one day animated adult movies from Roberts, Fernando etc. !

I hope, someday an investor will do such a project - the hentai movies are very good, but the same art style is getting boring after some time ... the adult animated scene needs Dofantasy quality!

As usual, Roberts speaks the sooth. Live action porn budgets have shrunk to lunch money in this economy. There isn't a production company, except maybe Private, that has the bucks for minimum feature running time of 67 minutes in animation. It's just not cost-effective.

If this is ever going to change, it's going to have to be by way of some technological breakthrough that brings down the hard costs. But so far, animation seems headed in the opposite direction - toward bigger and more expensive.

Excellent reply. If I may ask.... given as it is today...

1. Would the pre-existing readers, audience and lovers of bdsm fantasy stories and artwork as published on DoFantasy.com enjoy a well made 2D animated BDSM DoF-like story, and would hence purchase it on DoF?

2. Would the producer (artist/animator/studio) get paid handsomely (well enough) which I reckon should be much higher than a regular bdsm comic artists ?

Cool Devices is a great BDSM Hentai series. It's an anthology so you don't have to follow a 20 episode story line.
