Have you ever ended up with a commissioned work so good, and/or big I guess, that you, after agreeing* with the commissioner, tweaked it some and released it to us, Joe the public?



*) I would assume it would be you, the creator, who owns the material. But there might be a need for some change of characters involved.

Nah....hasn't happened yet.
Most of the time, there's so much very personal sexual content and specific fetish imagery that the customer really doesn't want it "out"...
These are after all, personal sex art fantasies..which usually go places we don't go on DoFantasy..

Hi Gary! In another post I wrote I've been a big fan of your art from a very long time... Really like "Taken" amongst your recent stories... the kidnapped girl is stunning sexy and really like the adesive tape on her mouth and eyes!! and watching her so helpless in the hands of her kidnappers...
I have a special request for you: could you please try to draw sex predators masked with nylon stockings pulled tight over their faces? Distorting their features beyond recognition and scaring their victim while they tie her up and f@ck her hard and deep? I think it's a thrilling, interesting idea: a girl kidnapped for ransom and f@cked by the gang members to convince her reluctant daddy to pay if he wanna see her again... or beautiful girls routinely taken by a sadistic gang for very hot saturday nights? Horny men always taking a nylon stocking in their pockets ready to quickly slip very tightly over their faces and suddenly attack a girl they wanna use as a f@ck-toy... just as adesive tape to seal her mouth and handcuffs, maybe a syringe filled with drugs to quickly make her totally helpless, taking her away with them to f@ck her in their place... maybe a van riding the city with 4-5 stocking masked men inside looking for the right girl to kidnap and use as a sex slave and a cum dump for 3-4 hours?
I guess it's not an easy thing indeed drawing stocking masked predators and scaring distorted features but please consider to give it a try in some future illustrated story... Or do you think I should consider it a private commission, maybe a short story, just in case you consider an interesting challenge drawing stocking masked guys in nasty actions?

Well, this seems like a special personal fetish, doesn't it??
I know, I'm so bad..I don't incorporate a huge wide variety of fetish into my comics...I do tend to draw what makes ME happy..
So yeah, I don't do much Pony Girl, I don't do tattoo, I don't do Doggie Training, the stocking mask thing just wasn't a big deal for me
either..sorry guys, I'm so selfish..
BTW, the girl in TAKEN is my slavegirl, the super hot model Brenda..she is the model for that comic and "poses" for it..or should I say, is MADE to pose for it...oh yes, I do have some things in store for her..
I think if you're really into the whole stocking mask gang thing you should have your own personal fetish comic done..that way you get exactly what you want with no outside influences or restrictions..

Ok Gary, I see you don't like drawing stocking masks... I also guess it needs time and a lot of application to draw this kind of subject quite effectively, with that particular scaring, distorting feature effect, thats why I wrote it's a challenge... Cagri did it sometimes in his stories but the result wasn't good enough in my opinion... but at least he tried.
While I'm sorry to say it's not true it's a matter of a personal fetish, something weird in other words, since there are other people who like watching stocking masked sex predators in action... it's only something different than the usual ski masks or balaclavas after all... There's another great artist I don't name here since doesn't work for dofantasy who's making dozens if not hundreds of hot "stocking mask" single pics and exciting stories with stocking masked predators, gaining a great feedback from his fans. So it's not MY fetish. I only wished you liked the idea and make a try, that's all. But if you don't like this fantasy or probably consider too difficult to draw this kind of scenes or you're "selfish" or whatever, well, there's no reason to ask you for a commissioned comic, as you kindly suggested, that won't even be considered.

I wasn't suggesting you commission ME to do a stocking mask comic, geeez I'm way to busy as it is...no time for it. But there's many other artists you could approach..
I'm rather AMUSED by your obvious annoyed attitude...you don't get where you want to go by insulting the artist. There is nothing "too difficult" for me to draw, please..don't be a child.

Brenda is also a highly accomplished graphics artist and photoshop pro...she's been getting so much pro graphics ad work and photo retouch, catalog, product design work, she hasn't had time to do my paint in awhile...I'm drawing and painting for the time being, until her graphics biz slows down...which might not happen..
Oh well...I actually love doing the paint, and she gets paid well, so how can I complain?

I'm not the biggest Roberts fan out there, and that isn't about the art or the craftsmanship, it's about content, our minds are just screwed up in different ways. We like different things. I wont dwell on that here, sufficient to say that I bought a few Roberts comics and might well buy some in the future, but not all. Why am I in the Roberts thread? Well, I like to discuss the Dof products, and Roberts is one of the few that gives some sign of life here and replies to other posters. Also, he does actually lift his sight out side of his own material from time to time. This is simple the best source for info about Dof and its products.

Back to my point with this post; as long as the output puts a meal on the table I believe all artists should follow their own compasses. Otherwise we'd end up like most Hollywood productions where the accountants appear to decide artistic content. Result is decent craftsmanship, but no spark in the content = boring. THAT would not be good for a porn comic.

On the other hand, that should not refrain fans, customers, editors, etc, from putting ideas on the table. Who knows, it might well spark something within the creative master minds of our bellowed artists. Then of course, being told that an idea isn't viable, is a [mild] rejection. So some ill advised remarks might well surface. But as always, if you stick your neck out...

Why did I put the part of me not being an absolute fanatic of Roberts comics in here? Well, I've been trying to influence our dear artist several times (the craftsmanship is top notch, sooo with a little "better" content..), but got shot down every time.
